It was so amazing being shown the Negarin London AW15 collection! I am a big fan of their clothes and brand aesthetic of modern and innovative everyday clothing. Negarin Sadr, is a trained artist and sculptor, which you can see portrayed through her clothing. Vibrant prints and creative pattern cutting skills are what make their collections so eye catching. This season they drew inspiration from the elegant Greta Garbo. The collection is so beautifully put together in an ‘easy-chic’ vintage style channeling Garbo’s androgynous, comfy iconic looks. To see more of her collections, check out the Negarin London website.

Wilson PK’s AW15 collection was inspired by all things fragile, aptly named ‘100% Fragile Human’. It was an incredibly fun and beautiful collection. I particularly enjoyed looking at the variety of texture and fabric manipulation used. Wash care labels were printed with ‘Handle with care’ to emphasise the theme along with butterfly wings enclosed in fabric, and lots of sheer, delicate pleating. The strong silhouettes give an architectural contrast to the ‘fragile’ fabrics and compliment each other elegantly.
