Bora Aksu never fails to disappoint! I was particularly excited as it was the first time I had seen one of his shows live. The collection fits into his usual romantic brand aesthetic however this time with a punk edge. Multiple methods of fabric manipulation where used, laser cutting in particular, in some cases looking fairly gothic. Laura Whitmore modelled his garments and led the finale parade. Below I have shown my 2 favourite looks!

JAMIE WEI HUANG
To set the scene of her AW15 show, titled ‘Nymphomaniac’, Jamie Wei Huang blasted rock music and styled models with grungey, wet looking hair. The collection was primarily monochrome colours, incredibly appealing to me obviously, but with odd pops of pinks and blues. The use of textures was plentiful, with fur placements, leather, metal buckles and tassels. Overall, a truly inspirational collection and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it!

I love Fashion Week! It’s such a fab excuse to get dolled up and spend the day in London as well as a chance to see all my fave blogger pals! My outfit for day 1 was pretty pyjama reminiscent! I got a few odd looks when catching the train but I tend to bask in it. When deciding what to wear, I actually started off dressing up the trousers with a white tank top but the bitter cold turned me down the jumper route!
I spent the majority of my day catching up with the lovely Sophie in between shows. It’s always lovely bumping in to people you know, particularly when you have the same show invites! For day 1 I attended the Jamie Wei Huang show and the Bora Aksu show. Both stunningly beautiful in completely different ways with lots of pieces that I was lusting over!
