Making a bold statement with a monochrome colour scheme is so simple to do. I have been told before where that some people associate monochrome with being plain, which I hate. It’s not plain at all! You can experiment with so many different ways to wear monochrome, such as patterns and textures. Here I have clashed two checked items to create a more exciting look.

Gold Bangle Necklace – Warehouse

Cat-eye Sunglasses – Miu Miu

As I’ve said before, I find it really hard to find jumpsuits that suit me. Most of them make me look short. So when I tried on this jumpsuit, I just had to get it! It is so flattering and a great buy at £15. If you guys checked out my post from the Primark SS15 press day then you’ll know that they have some amazing clothes coming out this season, I can definitely predict where all my money will be going this Summer!

Hope you like it!

Many apologies for my short hiatus from the blog! I’ve been preparing my final collection for the end of year photoshoot at uni, hope you all understand! I have 5 weeks left until the end of my uni course, which is obviously scary and not to mention, incredibly stressful! I can’t wait to show you all the end result.

Had a chilled out day today with Laura. We travelled into Kingston, where we tried out the newly opened Cereal Bar for some crisp sandwiches! I highly recommend checking it out if any of you are in the area! After that we took our blog photos in the glorious sun and then relaxed in the garden with a disposable BBQ… Summer has arrived!

I am so close to finishing my final year at uni and thoroughly looking forward to organising a fun-filled Summer break! Although I will be thrown into the deep end and have to become an adult quickly, finding a proper job, I still want to enjoy a little break from all the hard work that I’m doing at the moment. I can feel myself letting the stress get to me and so I’m currently trying all that I can to chill out and relax. This means lots of chocolate, indulging baths and camomile tea!

I completely forgot that I had these Levi jeans and I haven’t worn them for about a year! They are the perfect pair of Summer jeans. I bought them from a charity shop with the intention of cutting them up into short but never got round to it. In the end I decided to keep them how they were, which is a rather unusual shape, very wide leg and cropped, and I slashed the legs to give a ripped look. Upon rediscovering them they are now my favourite jeans and I’m wearing them like everyday! This is a look that I wore to uni last week. Hope you like it!

White Tailored Trousers – Zara

Western Style Belt – Vintage

Nude Sandals – Whistles

Crystal Necklace – Urban Outfitters

This is my first outfit for a while that doesn’t have a single item of black in it! Still pretty monochrome though! Thought I would throw in some nude tones as it’s so close to Spring!

You might remember this top from my pictures of the Urban Outfitters press day. I have been lusting over it ever since and it looks fab with some soft tailoring. Urban Outfitters SS15 is all inspired by ‘detox’ with neutral shades and clean silhouettes. I recommend you all checking out their new collection in stores now as it is to die for!!

I was having a discussion with my housemate last night and we both agreed that my wardrobe is the best for basic garments that you can just throw on and look chic yet casual. Well I have just added to that selection with this T-shirt from Urban Outfitters. I love wearing it! Its super easy to style, like here going for more of a simple biker chick look with the lace skirt, messy hair and boots.

This will also be coming with me to Glastonbury festival, I’m sure! i’m currently looking into festival trends and my wishlist is growing rapidly! I will share my outfit ideas with you guys soon so keep checking back. Anyone else going Glasto? Drop me a comment!

One of the hottest up coming trends is the 70’s era. It was everywhere at London Fashion Week this season and coming into stores for the Summer. Here is my take on the trend in monochrome (obviously!). It’s super easy to achieve, with paisley prints, crochet, flares, fringing and afghan coats. Hope you like it!

Plunge Neck Blouse – Zara

Black Wide Leg Jumpsuit (worn underneath) – c/o In Love With Fashion

Large Black Bag – H&M

Cateye Sunglasses – Jeepers Peepers

Sometimes you can’t beat an all black outfit! I know I always dress in monochrome colours anyway so I’m biased but it is definitely the best colour like EVER! It just goes with everything, it’s classic, timeless and will never go out of fashion. It’s the safest bet in any scenario.

I love this easily put together, chic look. The silky fabrics on both the jumpsuit and the blouse gives a pyjama like feel. It’s a great workwear look too. Plus mixed with a big bag and killer sunglasses you look like a boss! As I’m coming close to graduating my uni course soon I need to be planning out interview and work outfits, so expect a few coming up!

I love hearing what you think of my posts, so please comment below!
